Highmark Machine Works was founded by Kevin Lievers in 2001. His history in the snowmobile and ATV industry as a Journeyman red seal motorcycle mechanic instilled a passion and drive to create and machine parts to improve performance of these offroad vehicles. In the snowmobile offseason, he started doing sublet machining work for oilfield companies, which inspired him to attain his journeyman red seal machinist certificate. Soon after, the first CNC lathe was installed and the fledgling company began.
The company name was chosen as to the thought of us setting goals and the high standards required to achieve them. This exemplifies the core values we offer as a company that is focused on customer service. The other meaning of the name Highmark relates to the backcountry snowmobiling industry. Snowmobiling has been a passion of Kevin’s since he was old enough to pull start a sled.
